Behind Yarn Magic
A diary of yarn and handmade socks
Yarn Magic is a small creative diary born in Italy and told mostly in Russian. Since 1 April 2025 it has collected the socks personally knitted by its maker, the yarn she chooses and every step from an idea to a finished pair.
Over time the diary became an archive of colours, tested techniques and patiently corrected mistakes. Every pair is made by hand from start to finish and keeps the character of its yarn.
The magic lies in choosing the yarn, learning, undoing when needed and beginning again until every stitch in the sock is where it belongs.
