A diary about yarn and hand-knitted socks
Yarn Magic is a small creative blog that originated in Italy and is written mainly in Russian. Since 1 April 2025, it has featured socks knitted by the author herself, her choice of yarn, and the journey from the initial idea to the finished pair.
Over time, the diary has become an archive of colours, techniques mastered and mistakes patiently corrected. Each pair is hand-knitted from start to finish and retains the character of the chosen yarn.
From time to time, we offer items from our personal collection and small pieces we have made ourselves in the shop.
The magic lies in choosing the right yarn, learning the craft, and having the patience to unravel and start again until every stitch of the sock is in its right place.
